About
Hello, I'm glad you reached out. Life can be challenging, I get it! It's an honor to work with each individual on their journey of hope and healing. I see adults, teens, children, and families, and use a collaborative approach, based in attachment and family systems theories. There are many therapy modalities that combine to heal the whole self including EMDR, Lifespan Integration, Theraplay, Sand Tray, and art. Together, we will find what works best for you. Experience has given me unique insight into trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adoption, transracial families, and special needs -- but YOU are the expert on you and your family. I enjoy my work and in my free time I like to relax at the library, camp with my family, and explore the world.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
I love people and have spent my life working with toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults in the fields of mental health, child welfare, adoption, and early childhood education. I attended Portland State University and received my Bachelor of Science in Child & Family Studies; my Master of Social Work; and a post-graduate Certificate of Adoptive & Foster Family Therapy. In addition I am a TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner. I am licensed in Oregon and in-network with several insurance plans, offering a sliding scale for those in need. If you would like to connect to see about working together, use the contact link. In the meantime, be good to yourself!
